In 1824 the "reutende forester" Carl Friedrich Henker built the district forester's office. The property was then bought by the state of Saxony in the following year, and the associated hunting ground was a court hunting review of the Saxon royal court. The Free State was the owner until 2002, and it was still a district forester's office in the 1980s. After being vacant and changing ownership in 2022, it is now a privately owned residential and commercial building with an almost 200-year-old beech tree in the garden.
