The Doberlug monastery church was the sacred building of the Cistercian abbey of the Dobrilugk monastery.
Along with the Chorin monastery and the Lehnin monastery, it is considered one of the "most important brick buildings in the north German interior" and the "oldest, preserved church of the Cistercian order in eastern Germany".

The oldest monastery between the Elbe and the Oder was founded in 1165 and dissolved in 1541. Today, only remains of the refectory and the monastery church are present.
