Info:
Located in the Cottaer Busch and designated as a cultural monument of the municipality of Bahretal. The building was erected in 1820 as an artificial ruin and was intended to serve as a hunting shelter. Due to natural decay since 1900, the artificial ruin has become a natural ruin. The view from the western edge of the Cottaer Busch was so remarkable that it soon became a popular excursion destination. Now the view has become overgrown.
