The cycle track Münsterland leads from Coesfeld to Rheine on an asphalted track. No increase, great weather shelters. ten out of ten.

There are two souls beating in my chest. As a passionate cyclist, I enjoy this great route with a lot of former railway romance and a lot more nature with many opportunities to rest, to let the flora and fauna have a calming effect on you as well as to make worthwhile detours to the sometimes cute places or the remote gastronomy to visit. On the other hand, as a public transport user, I am just as passionate about the railway, for whom a comfortable, fast, uncomplicated cross-connection between the western Münsterland and the Emsland - probably irrevocably - was lost long ago.Especially in the course of the necessary traffic turnaround, the neighboring municipalities will understandably never want to give up these tourist "delicacies" again. That's why I see the transformation of disused railway lines with one laughing and one crying eye.

The cycle track Münsterland is a former railway line that goes from Coesfeld to Rheine. Total route length 42.5 KM
We drove the route from Billerbeck Lutum to Laer.
The railway line is a comfortable bike course 3m wide and covered with a good layer of asphalt.
Almost without increases, it leads through the typical Münsterland park landscape.
There are some interesting stops along the way !!! Actually almost always directly on the route.
I have attached the photos.
In Lutum the train station and also in Lutum the bell tower
Castle Darfeld (Only from the outside)
The train station Darfeld
Former shelter (with wooden class sign)
In Rosendahl Oldtimer Voss also directly on the route (for car and technology fans absolutely worth seeing (visitors are welcome)
