The Vennquerbahn branched off in Jünkerath to the northwest from the Eifelbahn towards Belgium and merged with the Vennbahn at Weywertz. It was last a single-track, non-electrified branch line. Often it is also included in the further route of the Vennbahn system via Malmedy to Stavelot.
