The Oldambtmeer is a lake of about 800 hectares in the Oldambt (East Groningen). The lake was built as part of the residential and recreational project Blauwestad.
With an area of 800 hectares and a water volume of 14 million cubic meters, the Oldambtmeer is one of the larger lakes in the Netherlands. The Oldambtmeer is on average 1.30 meters deep, and that makes it particularly suitable for (open) and smaller sailboats motor yachts.
