This beautiful section of the Werra-Burgen-Steig X5 runs through the Rhäden and south of Obersuhl on a shady path along the border between Thuringia and Hesse. Historic boundary stones are witnesses of the past, the carved letters KP (Kingdom of Prussia) and GSW (Grand Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach) refer to the former border residents.
