Hiking Highlight
The Söhrer Forsthaus, beautifully situated on the southern outskirts of the town of Hildesheim, at the foot of the Tosmar mountain, surrounded by woods and fields with idyllic hiking trails, is not only very special because of its location!Since about 1800, the forester's lodge was a forestry, whose forester incidentally operated a small restaurant for carters and hikers. In 1933, the forester's was sold and only managed as a guest house. In 1998 the estate was acquired by Hans - Rudolf Lütje.
After extensive refurbishment and new construction, the new forester's lodge was built. Greatest value was placed in the execution on historical models. All new buildings were made of solid oak framework. After three years of construction, the work was completed. On 1 January 2004, the new forester's house opened its doors. A house of the very special kind was created. Loving details, tasteful ambience and an excellent kitchen make every stay a very special experience. Convince yourself, we look forward to your visit.Source: soehrer-forsthaus.de
