The Dangast Deep is a low near Dangast, a district of the city of Varel in the Friesland district in the north of Lower Saxony.

Outflow of the Dangaster Deep into the Jade Bay (Dangaster Outer Deep)

Southeast of Neustadtgödens, the Friedeburger Tief flows into the Ellenserdammer Tief. It drains the "Herrenmoor" nature reserve and flows as the Dangast Deep on the western outskirts of Dangast into the Jade Bay and thus into the Wadden Sea. The Dangaster Tief is located in the FFH area "pond bat habitats in the Wilhelmshaven area" and in the "pond bat waters" conservation area.
