The "Marriage Stone" is a carved lintel stone, traditionally associated with local marriage customs. It's part of a ruined structure, near Caherurlagh.
The stone is carved with a round hole, said to be used in "handfasting" ceremonies, a traditional form of betrothal where couples would touch or clasp hands through the opening.
