Dennenlohe Castle was built in 1734 with its outbuildings (master builder Leopoldo Retti, court architect of the Margrave of Ansbach) and is considered one of the most beautiful Baroque ensembles in Bavaria. The castle is surrounded by the largest rhododendron park in southern Germany and a 25-hectare landscaped garden. He is known far beyond the region. The park is spacious with many interesting eye-catchers. You can spend many hours there, strolling, resting on the benches and let your mind wander. The castle has been owned by the von Süßkind family since 1821.

Absolutely worth seeing facility with castle and associated landscape park. Admission is currently €15 and contributes to the maintenance of the facility. The castle park was laid out by the "green" Baron Süsskind, who did almost all the planting here himself.
