Once you have reached the southern end of Skallingen, it is worth taking the path through the dunes instead of the official path. This is not easy to spot. But if you walk it, you have a view of the dune sea and the North Sea on both sides, which flashes through again and again, and on the other side of Ho Bay.

Hiking

The path that does not run on the dunes is a nice contrast after walking along the beach to the southern tip of Skallingen. Although there is no longer a view of the western beach and the North Sea, the green dune and grass landscape offers interesting views even when the weather is not so nice. I have added a few photos from the beginning of October. And for the protection of flora and fauna, this path is also a better alternative than the dune paths.
