Jens Jessens Sande Parabolic Dune

A varied path leads to the high dune at Ho. From here you have a very nice view over the dunes and the Ho Bay.

Interesting natural history - and from the top you have a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape.

Ho Plantage is one of the youngest plants in the area. It was created in the 1950s. The plantation is located on the edge of the areas Vesterhavet Nature Park and Vadehavet National Park. The yellow and the red hiking route bring you to the Parabeldüne "Jens Jessens Sande". From the dune you have a wide view over the nature reserve Vesterhavet and the national park Vadehavet. You can follow the green route along the old shoreline where Sønderside used to be.
If you do not want to go back the same way, you can take the blue-marked route that leads through the plantation and over the big parabeldune Jens Jessens Sande. With the app "Fortællinger i Nature Park Vesterhavet" you can learn something about the history of the place.
