Another example of how a former, gigantic post-industrial building can be turned into a modern, multifunctional sports and cultural complex is Trojhalí Karolina. The area of huge halls full of iron and masonry used to serve as the back-up facilities for the Karolina Mine and the local coking plant. Nowadays, you can play badminton, indoor football and go to a concert, which in a hall from the mid-19th century is a great experience with an unusual atmosphere.
