The "tips" from Frank Skibbe and Eisbaer67 do not quite fit: It is a memorial to one (not "the") dead of the plane crash and only indirectly a memorial (and certainly not "for") the crash. You have to know that the crash happened on March 1st, 2012 (date of death on the stele and no "board") and about 4 km east of the Egelsbach airfield, where the aircraft was supposed to land, i.e. at the location of the stele (source: aviation-safety.net/database/record.php?id=20120301-0&lang=de).
