If you come to the Gentbrugse Meersen in a group and you want to make a party out of it, with a picnic, drinks and any form of entertainment that creates waste afterwards, keep in mind that garbage cans are a rarity here. So take care of bags yourself to dispose of everything afterwards, or have your party near one of the few garbage cans there are. Here for example. Ideal spot with seating and picnic benches. Lots of greenery nearby. The mountains of Gentbrugge at 50 meters. Even a rock party in the reed stream. Wonderful splashing.
