An imperial resting place right next to Graz Cathedral. Turquoise roof domes stand out above the mausoleum against the bright blue sky and, together with the cathedral and St. Catherine's Church, form a magnificent cityscape. You immediately feel like you have been transported to the south, as the ensemble enchants the visitor with an almost Florentine flair. Emperor Ferdinand II had his court painter Giovanni Pietro de Pomis plan the impressive tomb here in Graz [graztourismus.at].
