Rosarium Westbroekpark

Westbroekpark is not only popular with children (large playground) and rose lovers (rose garden!), but also with festival fans, as events such as the Dorst beer and wine festival or the De Parade cultural event are held here several times a year. When there's no party going on, Westbroekpark is a green oasis where you can have a picnic, play football and go boating.
From June to November, around 20,000 roses bloom in the Westbroekpark rose garden - 300 different varieties! Apparently rose breeders from all over the world send their new varieties here for cultivation in order to test them in this climate near the North Sea. Since the rose garden is internationally known, the so-called International Rose Concours is held here every July, where the world's most beautiful and highest quality rose is chosen. The rose garden is also ideal for a picnic or a break with a good book - including an enchanting view.
