The Adolf-Scheidt-Platz is the center of the garden city Neu-Tempelhof, much better known as the Aviation Quarter. In the 1920s, a village settlement based on the model of the English garden towns was built on the former parade grounds of the Tempelhofer Feld. In the middle of Berlin you can stroll along pretty row houses and front gardens here. Responsible for the design of the town planning and the architecture was the Tempelhofer building council Fritz Bräuning.
