It was built in 1803. The owner of the house was an innkeeper and Höker (dealer). The location directly on the banks of the Ilmenau was ideal: Boatmen and farmers who crossed the river here liked to stop off at the restaurant. The building shows a facility from around 1800. The museum weaving mill is located in the former hall (upper floor).
