    Hiking

On a hill about 1.5 km west of Sottorf lies 131 m above sea level the memorial stone for a "hiker, friend of the heath and the forest" - Paul Roth. The 1.9 m high granite figurine bears the inscription "Paul Roth 1912" on the obverse. Paul Roth was not only hiking friend, but also for 35 years predator of the Hamburg Turnerschaft of 1816.

    Hiking

    Hiking on the highest mountains
The highest elevations of the Harburg mountains lie in the eastern part: the 155 meter high Hülsenberg and the Gannaberg with the Rosengarten TV tower. Another popular destination is the Paul Roth Stone, a granite boulder almost two meters high, which according to the inscription is dedicated to a "hiker, friend of the heath and the forest".

For winter sports enthusiasts the Reiherberg is especially popular. The steep ascent is rewarded with a rapid sleigh ride into the valley.
