Hiking

In the 13th century, the simple complex was owned by Ulrich von Braunsberg and was therefore the seat of the Lords of Braunsberg. In the 14th century they were taken over by the Mareidians of Eppan. Around 1492, Braunsberg Castle passed to the Counts of Trapp. Today Braunsberg Castle is owned by Count Strachwitz and cannot be visited.
