The headland separates the two lakes. At the western end there is a small bridge that leads from the headland to the land. There are benches on the headland and plenty of activity (cyclists, runners, walkers, dogs, ...)

Road cycling
Idyllic stretch of road over a dam, lined to the right and left by trees, shrubbery and reeds, which separates the Falkenhagener lake from the New Lake. At the northwestern beginning of this section of the route there is a restaurant and two cozy beer gardens, some directly on the water, as well as a rowing and pedal boat rental service.
