Beguine house on Müllertor Street
The building, which is located inside the cathedral area on "Müllertor" street, also served as a beguine house between 1893 and the 1970s.
It was built a few 100 m from an earlier building from 1558, which was no longer habitable and is located on the street "An der Freiheit" and was used privately as a workshop.
Nowadays the building belonging to the Protestant church is a residential building.
The year 1658 was incorrectly engraved - the correct number is 1558.

The Beguinenhaus am Müllertor is one of two Beguinenhaus in Havelberg. It was built some 100 m from an earlier building from 1558 that was no longer habitable. The beguines were required to care for the sick, prayers and needlework, and to lay the bodies. Their duties decreased in the 19th century. The Beguinenhaus existed until 1952 as a facility for the care of citizen widows. Now the house is used privately.
