Based on the alvermannekes (gnome figures from the Kempen folktales and once a series with Jef Casiers), there is a walking route from VTC de Mixx in Herselt for the little ones with a activity booklet and an Alvermannekesmuts (paying). Recommended age: 2.5 to 7 years. Boots recommended. And of course there are also toys around the alvermannekes in the playground of the VTC. The guide during the walk is Alverman Erwin, who pops up here and there on signs along the route (so not just a sign in one place). Info and more at herselt.be/alvermannekesroute
