Hörnum Odde is a spit of land jutting out into the sea at the southern tip of Sylt, where the force of the sea gnaws away at it like nowhere else on the island. Every year, the violent storms in autumn and winter devour more of the Odde. A circuit that only a few years ago took about four hours can now be completed in just under two hours and only at low tide.
