Hiking
Cyclists can cycle over a wooden construction under the Groningen-Leeuwarden railway line. The underpass has slopes that gradually descend, so that they are also suitable for mobility scooters, for example. The underpass also has added value for tourist bicycle traffic. The northern part of the Trekweg follows the water of the Stroobossertrekvaart and ends up at De Lêste Stuver via an avenue. This cycles much quieter than the Paralellelweg and the ring road.
