Mountain biking

The Protestant village church was built around 1500 as a late Gothic, rectangular field stone building. After the turn of the millennium, extensive renovation work was necessary. The syringe house built into the church wall - also used as a prison at the time - was also renovated.

Cycling

The church was built in 1499. The southern extension served as a mortuary. The bell tower was built in 1780. The bells from 1679 were melted down in WWI and replaced by two steel bells in 1919. A special feature in Lichtenow is that the fire station was built into the wall surrounding the church area. As was customary in the country at the time, the Lichtenow fire station was also the site's prison cell.
