In the Saale-Orla district, between Saale and Wisenta, you will find the church gem. Karl-Wilhelm Wetzel, son of a family of manufacturers from Gera, had this manor chapel built in 1935 as thanks to God for a successful eye operation. In form and floor plan, the chapel resembles the Gera Trinity Church, his home church.
