The Burgkhammer dam (not to be confused with the Burghammer reservoir) is part of the Saale cascade. It is the lower basin of the Bleiloch pumped storage power station and at the same time a run-of-river power station. The dam is located in the municipality of Burgk in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia and dams the Saale. It was put into operation in 1932. 🤗
