The manor was built at the beginning of the 18th century. The half-timbered building was extended in the mid-18th century by four axes. A two-storey building with thirteen axes on the ground floor and eleven on the first floor, closed with a hipped mansard roof with bat dormers.
From the end of the 14th century until the expropriation in 1945, the properties of Galenbeck belonged to the noble von Rieben family. After 1945, refugees and displaced people moved into the house.
Today, the historic mansion is privately owned and is being reconstructed.

Yes, definitely worth seeing. The old half-timbered walls are very well preserved.
