Haus Wildtierland – Gehren School Hostel

A school camp run by the German Wildlife Foundation in the middle of nature.

Located in the middle of the pristine terminal moraine landscape of the Brohmer Mountains, Haus Wildtierland is the perfect destination for school trips, holiday camps, project weeks and other outdoor activities. There are few places in Germany where the chance of seeing cranes, white-tailed eagles, red deer, roe deer, wild boars, foxes and many other animals in the wild is so high. With the support of the German Wildlife Foundation, guests of Haus Wildtierland can take advantage of the many opportunities that the nearby estate, forestry and hunting operations offer, such as wildlife observation pulpits, forest information trails and a tree nursery. The nature education offer includes numerous workshops, hikes and other activities.
