Bismarck monuments (sometimes also called Bismarck columns, Bismarck statues, etc.) were erected in honor of the longstanding Prussian Prime Minister and first German Chancellor, Otto Fürst von Bismarck, in many places in Germany at that time (today partly Denmark, France, Poland and Russia) Colonies as well as established on other continents.
The Bismarck monuments were the most visible and permanent expression of Bismarck worship or the Bismarck cult in the Empire.(Source: Wikipedia)
