The builder in 1777 was the farmer Johann Adam Geiger, who had already taken over the previous building in 1755 from his father Johann Andreas Geiger, a baker and farmer. The old house name "Beckenbubenhaus", which was common in Bofsheim to the end, goes back to the baker Johann Andreas Geiger, the father of the builder.
