Riocorvo is a small and picturesque village, just 5 km from Torrelavega towards Reinosa, which developed around the Camino Real that linked the ports of Suances and Santander with the Meseta (exactly 6 leagues from Santander), and this strategic point of the town left us a legacy of emblazoned mansions on both sides of this artery so important for Santander at the end of the Modern Age.
