Behind the church of Santa Margherita is the Crypt of Santa Lucia Filippini. This crypt, with a very strict architectural layout, houses the body of Santa Lucia Filippini in the tomb under the altar. Two marble high reliefs by the sculptor Dante Ruffini adorn the altar, with the right relief showing Santa Lucia Filippini raising young people. The crypt has an important place in the history of Montefiascone, with improvements made by Bishop Luigi Boccadoro in 1962.
