Tips
Crossing lava flows is something surreal. It really feels like walking on the moon. On this occasion we crossed the 1981 flow that endangered the city of Randazzo, before being partially diverted and then stopping by itself. The rubber of the shoes is put to the test by the rubbing of the lava rock.
