The Jardin des Roses shows the relationship between St Rosa, the Virgin Mary and Toon Hermans. The house is for cancer patients and their loved ones. Toon Hermans opened it and gave it his name, in honor of his wife Rietje, who also died of cancer. Toon Hermans is honored in this garden. '24 roses' a monument of love. Roses, which with their thorns also symbolize the pain and sorrow in life.
