The best view of "Taipei City" and "Taipei 101" is from the viewing platform at the summit of "Elephant Mountain" (Xiangshan).

The hike takes about 15-20 minutes and includes many stairs and is quite exhausting. Definitely something to drink with you!

It can be very busy here at sunset and on weekends, I recommend the hike in the early morning.
