The coast road ride, and hot/cold seafood and drinks offering at Skipness Cabin are well worth the short detour. If there early, grab a coffee and a hot-smoked salmon roll; if late a full on seafood platter and chowder :) The salmon and scallops are so so good.

There's also a little Skipness Smokehouse store which stocks a load of local packed seafood >> perfect to stash on your bike for snacks and meals...
