A new hop field was also constructed along the Nedermolenstraat, in the direction of the abbey. Standing in front of this field, four rows of the 'Groene Bel' variety have been planted (from left to right), the next row is the 'Record' hop and the next five are of the 'Coigneau' variety. These are all local varieties that provide bubbles of very high quality and have undeniably contributed to the great fame of the hop culture in our region. The intention is to give these old varieties a new future in this way.
