The trail up to the summit of Gobbler Knob is fairly easy and well marked. Grass meadows and juniper forests will surround you as your make your way upwards, passing large sandstone and limestone boulders. Keep a look out for fossils, as this area is known to be a great place to find them scattered about.

Getting to the trailhead can be quite tricky and is not recommended without a 4x4 vehicle.
