Malbrouck Castle, also called Meinsberg Castle, is a completely renovated (!!!) medieval castle complex in Manderen in the French department of Moselle in the historic Lorraine region, not far from the border with Germany. From up here you can enjoy the view over the valley and the castle. The castle is named after the Duke of Marlborough, who made his main base here for a few weeks during the War of the Spanish Succession.
In the 1990s, an unprecedented reconstruction effort began here, turning the largely weathered ruin into a film-worthy model chateau. That certainly wasn't cheap...

Didn't have the pretty chateau view on my list when I was planning! But both the ascent via Apach from the Moselle in the direction of Merzig and the "Burg view" are great!
