The Trudenstein in the Harz is a granite rock formation (at about 735 m above sea level NHN) below the Hohnekamm near Schierke in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt.
From here men have an impressive view over the Harz mountains. Iron ladders lead to the Trudenstein. It's a good way to get over that. At the foot of Trudenstein there is a nice opportunity to rest with a view.

Between Drei-Annen-Hohne and Schierke lies the granite cliff Trudenstein (736 m above sea level).The name derives from "Trute", which means witch or sorceress. Already on 01.07.1894 the Harzclub made the boulders accessible via iron ladders and thus made the wonderful view of the Harz mountains possible.

After a beautiful forest path you get past these towering stones. A great photo opportunity and a super nice view 😀

Here you should really stop briefly and climb the Trudenstein - great view!
