The start is hardly recognizable from the highway. It is NOT a circular route! Those who do not turn back at the crack, come on a 80 km long multi-day trail. The comedy time is deceptive: we needed a total of 3 1/2 hours.

The Crack Trailhead is located on Highway ON-637 in the south of Killarney Provincial Park. The parking lot offers space for several cars and small campervans. Two information boards provide information about the trail and explain the code of conduct.
From the trailhead, a wide path leads through the shady forest with mostly young maple and birch trees to the outlet of Kakakise Lake.
