The Maglev (=Shanghai Transrapid) currently commutes between the airport and Longyang Road at a fairly constant speed of 300 km/h. A special experience, relaxed and rarely crowded, but also significantly more expensive than the metro (50 RMB one way). The rails and switch construction is still identical to that in Emsland.
