Etschtal Cycle Path (Valle dell'Adige Cycle Path)

The second stage of the Adige Valley cycle path, which leads from Merano to Trento. On these 98 kilometers you will be accompanied by a breathtaking landscape that always invites you to linger and discover.

During your journey you will encounter the majestic castles around Bolzano. Not only is their silhouette impressive in the distance, many of them also open their doors to curious visitors. When summer takes the region into its warm embrace, Lake Kaltern beckons with its cooling effect. Jump into the water and the feeling of freedom will come over you.

The route takes you further through the impressive terrain of the Trento landscape. The historic city of Trent will soon appear on the horizon, with its city center inviting you to stroll and explore.

The well-developed cycle path offers comfort for cyclists of all experience levels. But let's be honest: despite the splendor of the landscape, the long straights can sometimes seem like an eternity. If you're looking for a change, you could consider driving along the wine route. It winds through apple orchards and along small roads, far away from car traffic.

A little tip at the end: be careful! Especially on Sundays, when e-bike tourists crowd the path. Overtaking and oncoming traffic require special attention here. But with consideration and respect, the tour becomes an unforgettable experience for everyone. Have a good trip!
