A Kasteel, surrounded by a moat and located in a park-like landscape, as if from a picture book.

Henkenshage Castle (or Henckenshage) is a castle-like building in Sint-Oedenrode, in the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant. Originally it was one of the many locks that existed in this region, a fortified mansion or nobleman's house with no military function. It was probably built in the beginning of the 14th century. In the 15th century the House was called Strijpe or Streepen, but the name Henkenshage already appeared in 1387, including as Haenckenshage. Haencken probably refers to a person and is a corruption of John.
