Known as the gateway to Langtang National Park, the city of Bidur is a cultural hub with many temples and religious sites including Bageshwori Temple and Kukur Ganesh Temple. The city is also known for its traditional handicrafts, particularly prayer drums and batik fabrics. Away from the well-known tourist magnets of Nepal, Bidur offers a more authentic experience and an opportunity to experience the local culture and way of life.
