The expanse of Tempelhof Airport is fascinating. At its edge stands the historic, enormous airport building, and on the horizon, the television tower. Skylarks nest and sing in the marked central area, racing cyclists and skaters whizz along the track, and people meditate and recline on the lawns. On the eastern edge, there's an area for urban gardening. I see something new every time I visit.
